The house, famous for having hosted the young poet Guillaume Apollinaire in the summer of 1899, is today composed of a RestÔ and an eight-room hotel.

The town of Stavelot is located in the Ardennes hills in the Belgian province of Liège and has always been appreciated by the tourists who can enjoy numerous activities and discover a lot of treasures in the area.
Nature lovers will be fond of walking along or kayaking on the Amblève river or the Eau Rouge beck, skiing or mountain biking on the hills or in the forest.Within the walls of the former abbey, visitors have the opportunity to be shown several museums with a large collection of art and cultural objects, but also of classic racing cars and bikes.

Indeed, the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, where fans can attend the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Spa 24 hours endurance race and many other events, is only a few kilometres far.

Stavelot also protects its folklore and traditions and is the capital of Laetare, a carnival that takes place in spring, on the Mid-Lent Sunday, and is symbolized by the well-known character Blanc Moussi.

Very near to Malmedy with its shops, Spa with its casino and thermal baths, Coo with its waterfall and amusement park, Stavelot is a little historic town with a preserved nature that offers you a wide range of monuments, attractions, sights and festivals.
